Advertising and Still-Life Photography
Our still life course will teach you many of the techniques, tricks and tips that professional photographers employ when shooting images for advertising & still-life. Our tutors have a knowledge and ability that few lecturing photographers can match. In their day jobs they transform the mundane into the magical and this is proven in the top-end advertising campaigns they regularly shoot, a wealth of high profile clients and an enviable portfolio of stunning images.
Over the duration of the course we will set about photographing a number of different subjects in the studio. Each one will be used to illustrate a different lighting style and the relevant factors that combine to create the polished professional look photographers strive for. Every photograph we see published today goes through a degree of postproduction. Be it enhancements in Photoshop & other design programmes or indeed colour correction for printing. We will show you a variety of Photoshop and RAW processing techniques that can improve a captured image and turn if from a good image, to a stunning image.
